The Newsetter System is a flexible and modular solution. The Newsetter is the fruition of combined research, development and expertise from the leading specialist companies in the field, all selected by Kodak Polychrome Graphics to develop a high quality system, dedicated to the Newspaper Industry, using well-proven solutions. Editorial time, always at a premium, is increased simply because the pre-press schedule is shortened.
Outstanding productivity (up to 360 plates per hour, per 3 lines) is achieved through one continous flow of plates, only one step is required from page make-up to the press, no manual intermediate steps are required during plate production.
The modular design of the system allows the customer to chose a fully automated operation, or a semi-automated configuration. The newspaper printer has the option to manually load the plates into the Newsetter and unload directly from the processor.

Versatility is the key word with the Newsetter System from Kodak Polychrome Graphics. The system can handle many of the newspaper formats in current use, panorama, broadsheet, and tabloid. Production changes can be accommodated and changing paper format does not mean changing pre-press procedures. The capacity of the system can be scaled to match your individual requirements, outputting from 80 to 240 plates per hour (Newsetter TH80) and 120 to 360 plates per hour (Newsetter TH120).
Users experience peace of mind, since each of the platelines can operate together or separately, according to customers' needs. The speed, automation, and capacity of the system can cope easily with the peak demands before the presses start, covering the lead up to the print run.
