Jeff JacobsonJeff Jacobson, Chief Executive Officer, Kodak Polychrome Graphics

Jeff Jacobson is one of the founding managers of Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG), a leading worldwide supplier of digital and conventional solutions to the graphic arts industry. He has helped build and lead the organization, a joint venture between Eastman Kodak Company and Sun Chemical, since its inception.

Mr. Jacobson was named Chief Executive Officer of Kodak Polychrome Graphics in March 2000. He was formerly President, Kodak Polychrome Graphics, Americas, and a Corporate Senior Vice President of the organization. Mr. Jacobson joined KPG when it was formed in January 1998 as President of the United States & Canada Region and Corporate Vice President.

Mr. Jacobson joined the Polychrome organization in 1987 and advanced to Corporate Director, Human Resources, in 1993. He became General Manager, Polychrome Canada, in 1994 and Eastern Regional Manager in 1995. A year later, Mr. Jacobson became Vice President, Sales, for Polychrome Americas. Prior to joining Polychrome, Mr. Jacobson was employed by Radio Corporation of America (RCA) and Paramount Pictures Corporation.

Mr. Jacobson is an active leader in the graphic arts industry. He is chairman of the advisory committee of New York University's Center for Graphic Arts Management and Technology and he is a former member of the board of directors of the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (GATF). Mr. Jacobson is a former member of the NPES Board of Directors. Women In Production (WIP), in March 2003, awarded its prestigious Luminaire Award to Mr. Jacobson. In May 2001, the Association of Graphic Communication honored Mr. Jacobson with the Power of Communication Award. The award recognizes leaders in the graphic arts for their positive influence, creative excellence and outstanding achievements in the world of communications and publishing.

Having guided KPG through a successful reengineering, as well as major global and domestic business acquisitions, Mr. Jacobson is a respected source on management in the graphic arts. He addressed the Printing Industries of America/GATF 2002 Board of Directors meeting on the topic of "How to Succeed in a Mature Market." In May 2001 he spoke at the 7th World Print Congress in Beijing, China on the subjects "The Future Technology of Printing" and "The Future of the Graphic Arts Industry." Most recently, Mr. Jacobson delivered a keynote address at the Web Offset Conference, in May 2003.

A management graduate of the State University of New York (SUNY) Buffalo, Mr. Jacobson holds a master's degree in industrial relations from the Cornell School of Industrial Relations. He additionally holds a juris doctor degree from Pace University School of Law and is admitted to the bar in New York and New Jersey.
