Especially designed for deadline-driven newspaper applications, the KPG VioletNews printing plate combines reliability, consistency and production quality and will be shown in conjunction with the KPG Newsetter V120 violet newspaper CtP system for the first time at Newstec 2005. An integral component of the KPG Newsetter V120 violet newspaper CtP system, the KPG VioletNews printing plate, designed for newspapers, offers high durability and resolution of 2 to 98 per cent at up to 175 Ipi with run lengths of up to 200,000 copies unbaked. Other key specifications include fast imaging speed, handling in yellow safelight environments and low chemistry usage.
