KPG AND BALLOU TECHNOLOGIES TEAM TO PROVIDE ENHANCED MARKETING CAPABILITIES TO THE COSMETICS AND RETAIL INDUSTRY
Ballou Technologies Named Authorized Sales Agent for Verifi Accurate Web Color
Norwalk, Connecticut, USA - Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) has announced a Sales Agent Agreement with Ballou Technologies, Inc., Fairfield, CT. Under terms of the agreement, Ballou Technologies will be an authorized reseller of Kodak Polychrome Graphics Verifi Accurate Web Color, its industry-leading online tool for accurate color on the web, to retailers and vendors in the beauty and cosmetics industry globally.
"Verifi technology will be part of sites equipped with our product Beauty Intelligence," says Karen Ballou, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ballou Technologies. "Generally, a consumer will go to one of these sites looking for specific product recommendations-say for appropriate cosmetics to wear in the evening with a peacock-blue dress. Using Verifi technology, they'll be able to tell what the product will actually look like. The capability of Verifi's accurate web color technology enables them to make better choices online and to find the products they need more quickly when they go to a retailer to shop. Together, these technologies can educate clients who visit a web site, provide them with better service, and help build their loyalty to the manufacturer or retailer whose site they are using."

Under terms of the sales and marketing agreement, Ballou Technologies will represent both KPG's Verifi Accurate Web Color product and its color management services. Ballou Technologies will represent both a self-hosted Enterprise model and a model whereby the images are hosted by KPG.
