KPG LAUNCHES CERTIFIED MATCHPRINT VIRTUAL PROOFING SYSTEM PROGRAM TO CONNECT USERS WITH CUSTOMERS

Norwalk, Connecticut, USA - Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) is creating a network of certified Matchprint Virtual Proofing System users to make it easier to tap into the growing network of the leading contract monitor proofing system users and service providers offering the benefits of the SWOP (Specifications for Web Offset Publications) certified, color critical, monitor based proofing solution.

KPG announces the Matchprint Virtual Certified Program, a free service that recognizes a user’s ability to generate timely, color critical monitor proofs, thus reducing time to market for all color applications. Matchprint Virtual Proofing System users can apply for certification by downloading an application at www.kpgraphics.com/matchprintvirtualcertified.

Certified users will appear on a Matchprint Virtual Proofing Certified website, where those interested in employing the benefits of KPG’s industry leading monitor proofing solution can link directly to an approved vendor’s homepage for more information.

The Matchprint Virtual Proofing System – LCD combines the convenience of RealTimeProof with the color and accuracy of the KPG Matchprint Virtual Proofing technology. Utilizing high-end flat panel displays, the Matchprint Virtual Proofing System – LCD simplifies installation requirements and enables personal proofing. The system combines one of five approved Matchprint Virtual – LCD monitors (the Eizo ColorEdge 21?, the Apple Cinema Display 20? (plastic), the New Apple Cinema Display 20?, the New Apple Cinema Display 23? or the Apple Cinema Display 30?) with Matchprint Virtual Proofing Monitor software, a Matchprint Virtual calibrator and the full suite of the RealTimeProof web-based proofing tools.
