COLOR BY PERGAMENT SELECTS KODAK’S MATCHPRINT VIRTUAL PROOFING SYSTEM TO DRIVE PRODUCTION EFFICIENCY, STRENGTHEN CLIENT COLLABORATION
Contract color monitor proofing among services offered through new customer portal
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – August 10 – Pergalink, a web-enabled solution that offers Color by Pergament’s clients a variety of digital services, expands its ability to help turn jobs around faster and more cost effectively with the integration of color accurate monitor proofing. Color by Pergament has added the KODAK MATCHPRINT Virtual Partner application, which integrates directly into the Pergalink website and database. The MATCHPRINT Virtual application software and color management technology allows real time online color accurate proof approval and collaboration. The SWOP-certified solution employs off-the-shelf approved LCD monitors.

Pergalink brings together ten digital services and capabilities through one website for Color by Pergament’s agency and corporate clients. The MATCHPRINT Virtual Proofing System combines the convenience of REALTIMEPROOF technology with the color and accuracy of the KODAK MATCHPRINT Virtual Proofing technology. Utilizing high-end flat panel displays, the MATCHPRINT Virtual Proofing System – LCD simplifies installation requirements and enables personal proofing. The system combines one of five approved MATCHPRINT Virtual System – LCD monitors (the EIZO COLOREDGE 21", the APPLE Cinema Display 20" [plastic], the New APPLE Cinema Display 20"[metal], the APPLE Cinema Display 23" or the APPLE Cinema Display 30") with MATCHPRINT Virtual Proofing Monitor software, a MATCHPRINT Virtual calibrator and the full suite of the REALTIMEPROOF web-based proofing tools.
