KPG and Presstek Form Relationship to Expand United States and Canadian DI Markets

Hudson, NH - March 11, 2003 - Presstek, Inc. (Nasdaq: PRST), a leading provider of direct digital imaging technology and Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG), a leading supplier of digital, conventional and business solutions for the graphic arts industry, today announced that they have entered into a relationship for KPG to market, sell and service a direct digital imaging press and related consumables in the United States and Canada. The new KPG DI solution is a two-page, four-color Ryobi platform DI press which is enabled by Presstek's patented ProFire® imaging and thermal plate technology. This new highly automated DI solution will be manufactured to KPG specifications and is designed to provide high quality offset printing, and a high level of consistency.

John Schloff, KPG Worldwide Staff Vice President, said, "Kodak Polychrome Graphics is committed to helping customers make the transition to digital workflows. It is a natural progression that our current CtP and digital printing product portfolio expands to include a DI press." Schloff added, "Many of our customers are increasingly experiencing the need to deliver quality offset printing in shorter run lengths with faster turnaround times. By adding a KPG DI offering to our product portfolio we can now provide them with a solution that satisfies this need."

Edward J. Marino, Presstek's president and chief executive officer said, "The agreement with KPG further demonstrates the acceptance of DI in the market place. Presstek believes DI is the future of offset printing." He added, "As Presstek enters the next phase of its market-focused emphasis, it is essential to work with partners who have a commitment to DI and a strong sales and service network. KPG’s service, technical support, and sales organizations are among the best in the industry. We look forward to working with them to expand the market presence of this compelling DI solution."
