KPG DIRECTPRESS 5034 DI SYSTEM ENABLES INDIANAPOLIS PRINTER TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Norwalk, Connecticut, USA - Primarily a web printer, Print Communications, Inc. (PCI) creates a new market opportunity with the installation of the Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) DirectPress 5034 DI System.
"The installation of the KPG DirectPress 5034 DI System allows us to provide additional services to fulfill customer needs for high quality, quick turnaround, four color printing. In our most challenging customer requests, the DI Press will often give PCI the flexibility to turn around work the same day it comes into our plant," said Randy Steenbergen, CEO/Owner, Print Communications. "We anticipate the DI press will lead to new revenue opportunities for short run color in our existing account base and provide a good fit for the changing needs of the Indianapolis print market."
The KPG DirectPress 5034 DI System brings together the quality advantages of offset printing with the workflow and automation benefits of digital printing. This combination presents new growth opportunities for commercial printers, trade shops, or digital service bureaus that want to tap into the growing demand for high quality, quick turnaround, short run, four color work.
Located in Indianapolis, Ind., Print Communications services customers with insert, book and magazine, real estate and general commercial printing needs. The company was established in 1991 and has since grown to be the largest privately held commercial printer in the Indianapolis area.
