ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY'S GRAPHIC COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT HONORS KPG'S STEVE FULLERTON WITH Z.A. PRUST AWARD


Norwalk, Connecticut, USA - Arizona State University (ASU) presented Steve Fullerton, Director of Trade Relations, Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG), with the 2004 Z.A. (Zeke) Prust Award of Recognition for continued support of higher education in the graphic arts industry. Fullerton accepted the award following a technical presentation made to students and faculty on March 4, 2004 at ASU's annual Gravure/Graphics Industry Week.

"KPG continues to provide the resources, technical support and dedicated efforts to promote the graphic technology program at ASU, as well as other university graphic communications programs on a national level," said Dr. Thomas E. Schildgen, Department Chairman/Professor Information and Management Technology, Arizona State University. "Steve's personal dedication over the years to assisting all levels of graphic arts instruction has advanced the profession by preparing the skilled personnel that represent the future of the industry."

KPG has supported ASU's Graphic Communications Program, which consistently ranks as one of the best in the nation, for over 20 years.

"Our long-standing commitment to educating future leaders in the industry is crucial with the rapid change in technology and customer's needs," said Fullerton. "It's important that these students have necessary credentials for success upon college graduation. I'm pleased to be able to represent KPG in making this a reality for many and am honored to accept this award on KPG's behalf."

Presented annually by ASU, the Z.A. (Zeke) Prust Award honors an individual who has displayed ongoing support and participation in graphic arts education on a national level, as well as to ASU. The distinguished career of this individual represents a dedication to developing a resource of young people who represent the future of the printing, publishing and allied industries.
