KPG DONATES MATCHPRINT PROFESSIONAL SERVER AND CANON CLC 1150 COLOR PRINTER TO ASSOCIATION OF GRAPHIC COMMUNICATIONS

Norwalk, Connecticut, USA - Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) continues its longstanding support of the Association of Graphic Communications (AGC) with the recent donation of a KPG MATCHPRINT Professional Server and a CANON CLC 1150 digital color printer. The gift provides the organization with its first full service color copier and print server.

KPG and CANON, Inc. partner to offer professional solutions to graphic communications providers that combine the professional color accuracy and fidelity of KPG color management with best in class entry production electrophotographic printing technology.

“We are grateful to KPG for its support and look forward to continuing to work with the entire KODAK organization,” said Susie Greenwood, President, AGC. “This is very exciting. The KPG MATCHPRINT Professional Server and the CANON CLC 1150 digital printer expands our capabilities for projects such as creating professional quality proofs for our annual Buyer’s Guide.”

AGC used the equipment to run proofs of its annual Buyer’s Guide, the only industry publication that lists every major print supplier and vendor in the greater New York metropolitan area. With the KPG MATCHPRINT Professional Server and the CANON CLC 1150, AGC was able to produce everything in house, saving the organization time and money, as well as allowing the AGC to get all of the information to the printer before the deadline.

The combination of the MATCHPRINT Professional Server and the CANON copier printer for the first time enables fast, inexpensive and color accurate comps and proofs that set expectations that align with downstream print production processes, all the way into the pressroom.

“AGC serves as an important partner in reaching the local graphic communications services industry,” said David Tashji, Director of Worldwide Marketing, Direct Imaging & Digital Printing Solutions, KPG. “Working with the AGC allows us to get our products, solutions and services in front of thousands of market leading graphic arts companies. AGC and KPG work together to educate and inform graphic services companies about ways they can do their jobs faster, easier and with better results.”
